The rules of the road

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SiteBoss (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SiteBoss is an AI-powered website builder for contractors and home service businesses. You describe your business, our AI generates a multi-page website, you refine it through chat, publish it to a subdomain or custom domain, and capture leads through forms on your site.

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.

• The Service is offered on free and paid plans (such as starter and pro), each with its own limits on projects, publishing, and features.
• AI generation and editing consume credits. Credits and plan limits are described at the time of purchase and may change with notice.
• Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable fees.
• Except where required by law, fees and consumed credits are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law or infringe the rights of others.
• Create or publish content that is illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, or that promotes hate or violence.
• Send spam, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or misrepresent the Service, or abuse AI credits or free tiers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content you provide and the websites you generate and publish with SiteBoss ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content, and to send it to our AI and infrastructure providers, solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to use and publish Your Content.

Published sites are served on a SiteBoss subdomain and, on eligible plans, on a custom domain you connect. You are responsible for your domain registration and for the content and lawful operation of any site you publish. We may remove or unpublish sites that violate these Terms.

The Service integrates third-party providers, including AI and image providers, Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare, and Lovable. Your use of the Service may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or content.

AI-generated content, including text, code, layouts, and imagery, may contain errors or inaccuracies and may require review and editing. We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, fitness for a particular purpose, or search-engine ranking of any generated site. You are responsible for reviewing and approving your site before publishing.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteBoss and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your state/country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [your state/country].
